Hotel Chatham is located in the box seat of Waterfront Road in Waitangi on Chatham Island.

All of our accommodation options are in Waitangi Bay. Let us can arrange your flights along with your accommodation and airport transfers so all your bookings are coordinated together.

TO CHATHAM ISLAND

Air Chathams is the only airline serving the Chatham Islands, the most eastern region of New Zealand. With regular scheduled passenger services to and from Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch. Air Chathams ATR flies four to six times a week (the extra two flights are scheduled in summer). Light refreshments are served during the flight.

Flight time varies depending on the point of embarkation. From Auckland 2.25 hours, Wellington 1.75 hours or Christchurch 2 hours. Check-in is located at Air New Zealand domestic terminals. To locate your check-in gate enquire at the Air New Zealand information desk.

AIRPORT TRANSFERS

The airport is 21km from the Hotel. Hotel Chatham can pick you up at the airport for transport to your accommodation and get you back for your return flight. Charges apply.

TO PITT ISLAND

Visitors must charter transport to Pitt Island:
- by plane, 20 minute flight with Air Chathams
- by boat, 45 minute trip

Up to $500 per person paid directly on arrival at Pitt Island.
